Terms of Service

1. Agreement and scope

By using Screenshots Generator ("the service"), you agree to these terms and the Disclaimer & Responsible Use policy, which forms part of them. If you do not agree, do not use the service. These rules apply to free users, account holders, and paying customers.

Our Privacy Policy explains how personal information is handled. It does not grant permission to use the service unlawfully.

2. What the service provides

The service creates simulated screenshots and mockups. It does not send messages through the platforms depicted or verify that any displayed conversation, identity, transaction, or event is real. Permitted purposes include fictional stories, film production, educational demonstrations, design mockups, training, and clearly identified promotional examples.

Label shared or published content as fictional, simulated, or a mockup whenever it could reasonably be mistaken for an authentic record.

3. Prohibited conduct

We do not authorize or endorse unlawful or harmful use. You must not use the service to:

• Commit fraud, scams, phishing, extortion, blackmail, or other crimes.
• Deceptively impersonate people or organizations, or falsely attribute statements, consent, endorsements, or actions to them.
• Fabricate evidence or present generated images as genuine records in legal proceedings, investigations, employment, education, insurance, financial matters, or disputes.
• Present generated images as proof of payment, transfers, purchases, balances, receipts, invoices, or other real financial activity.
• Harass, threaten, bully, defame, spread malicious misinformation, or expose private information without authorization.
• Infringe intellectual property, privacy, publicity, or other rights, or violate applicable laws.
• Compromise the service, gain unauthorized access to accounts or systems, or interfere with other users.

Payment, removing a watermark, or describing content as a joke does not create an exception to these rules.

4. Your content and account

You are responsible for the content you supply and how you use or distribute the resulting images. You must have the rights and permissions necessary to use names, likenesses, images, and other material. You retain whatever rights you hold in your original content; using the service does not transfer third-party rights to you.

Protect your account and use accurate account information. Contact us if you suspect unauthorized access. Download work you want to keep; the editor is not a cloud backup or a source of authenticated records.

5. Paid access

Available plans, prices, currencies, durations, and renewal terms are shown on the pricing page and at checkout. Short passes expire; subscriptions renew according to the terms shown at checkout unless cancelled. Paid access changes the features or export rights described for that plan, not these acceptable-use rules.

Payments are handled through Dodo Payments. For billing, cancellation, or refund questions, use your account controls where available or contact support. Nothing in these terms removes mandatory cancellation, refund, or other consumer rights.

6. Intellectual property and independence

The service's software, branding, and original design remain the property of their respective owners. Third-party platform names, logos, and interface references belong to those platforms. Screenshots Generator is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by the platforms depicted.

7. Reports and enforcement

Report suspected misuse with enough information for us to assess it. We may investigate, restrict or suspend access, and take other measures available to us in response to misuse, security issues, or legal obligations. Where appropriate and lawful, we may respond to valid legal requests or work with relevant providers or authorities.

We cannot control or promise removal of images users publish on other services. Contact the hosting platform about those copies. Our ability to investigate may depend on the information available to us.

8. Service limitations and liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of uninterrupted availability, accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or freedom from errors. Generated images must not be relied on as evidence of real events.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Screenshots Generator and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising from use of the service or user-created content. Users are responsible for their own unlawful conduct. This clause does not exclude liability for our own conduct where the law prohibits that exclusion, and it does not waive mandatory consumer or other statutory rights.

9. Changes and contact

We may update the service and these terms. Updated terms will be posted here with a revised date; any additional notice required by law will be provided. Changes do not remove rights that cannot legally be removed.
