Why most fake Strava screenshots do not hold up
It is the arithmetic. A card claiming 10 km in 35 minutes is a 3:30 per kilometre pace, and if the pace field says 5:20 the screenshot is finished before anyone looks at the map. This generator derives pace from the distance and the moving time, and switches to average speed when the activity is a ride, which is what Strava itself does.
The map is the other giveaway, and the honest answer is that it is a drawing. Real map tiles cannot be embedded here, so the route is a generated trace over a stylised background with a green start dot and a dark finish. It reads as a route at a glance, which is enough for a mockup, a tutorial figure or a joke, and it is not tied to any real location.

- Activity: run, ride, walk, hike or swim, in kilometres or miles.
- Distance and moving time, with pace or speed calculated from them.
- Elevation gain, calories and average heart rate.
- The orange achievement banner, or leave it empty to hide it.
- The map height, because the real screen varies with how much the activity carries.
- Light or dark, exported at 1x, 2x or 3x.

- Does the Strava generator calculate pace for me?
- Yes, and that is the point. 1.54 km in 4:07 is 2:40 per kilometre, and the card shows exactly that. Hand-edited Strava screenshots usually get caught because the pace does not match the distance and time printed beside it.
- Can I use a real route map?
- No. Map tiles cannot be embedded here, so the route is a generated trace over a stylised background. It reads as a route at a glance but it is a drawing, not map data, and it is not tied to any real place.
- Can I make a Strava screenshot for a ride instead of a run?
- Yes. Switch the activity to Ride and the pace field becomes average speed in km/h or mph, which is what Strava shows for cycling. Run, Walk, Hike and Swim keep pace per unit.
- Can I use this to fake an activity on a leaderboard or a challenge?
- No. This makes a picture for content, design work or a joke. It does not upload anything to Strava, and passing an image off as a real activity to win a challenge or a bet is not what the tool is for.
